What “MISTI” Means to Us
MISTI comes from El Misti — a towering volcano in southern Peru that rises above the city of Arequipa. It’s strong, steady, and impossible to ignore. That’s the kind of reputation we aim for.
For us, the name is a symbol of strength, protection, and staying power — just like the roofs we install. It’s also a reminder of our heritage, our work ethic, and the pride we take in every job, from a small roof repair to a full replacement.

FAQs
-
Not every roof needs a full replacement — sometimes a simple repair will do the trick. If you're dealing with a few missing shingles or a small leak, we can usually fix it fast. But if your roof has widespread damage, sagging spots, or frequent leaks, it might be time for a full replacement.
We’ll take a look, walk you through your options, and help you figure out what makes the most sense for your home (and your budget).
-
Most residential roof replacements in Pensacola, Pace, Milton, or Gulf Breeze take just 1–3 days, depending on the size of your roof and how complex the job is.
Commercial roofing can take a little longer, but we always work efficiently to keep things moving and minimize the mess. You’ll know the schedule upfront — and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
-
It really depends on what you’re looking for. Asphalt shingles are affordable, reliable, and super common here in Northwest Florida. Metal roofing is great if you want something durable, energy-efficient, and long-lasting — especially with our Gulf Coast weather.
For commercial buildings, we often recommend TPO, EPDM, or modified bitumen — all solid options depending on your roof structure and how much foot traffic it gets. Don’t worry — we’ll walk you through the pros and cons and help you pick what works best for your property, the climate, and your unique situation/budget.
-
If your roof was damaged by a storm, hail, high winds, or some other covered event, your homeowner’s insurance might help cover the cost.
We’ve helped plenty of homeowners across Escambia and Santa Rosa County navigate the claims process — and we’re happy to do the same for you. We’ll document the damage, deal with the adjuster if needed, and help you get the coverage you deserve without the headache.
-
A little maintenance goes a long way. Keep your roof clear of debris, clean out your gutters regularly, and look for signs of damage after big storms. We also recommend getting a professional roof inspection at least once a year — especially here in Northwest Florida where the weather can be rough on shingles and seals.
Staying on top of the small stuff now can save you from big repairs later — and help your roof last years longer.
